Kelly Palmer

Counsellor & Psychotherapist

Kelly received her B.A. Honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences. Additionally, she is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. Kelly has an extensive background doing individual and couples therapy in private practice.

Counsellor & Psychotherapist

As part of a comprehensive and integrative treatment approach directed at overall wellbeing, Kelly offers several different types of therapy (CBT, ACT, SFBT, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Expressive Therapy) depending on each individual’s specific treatment needs.

 

Her practice focuses mostly on counselling and psychotherapy for individual adults and adolescents (16+), as well as couples. Furthermore, in her work with adolescents, Kelly integrates play, creative and expressive interventions. Kelly specializes in treating anxiety disorders and depression as well as stress management, coping skills, self-esteem, relationship issues, couples, premarital/marital, pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, grief and bereavement and overall wellness.

  • M.A. Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy (in progress)
