Adolescent
Service Description
Adolescence can be a quite demanding period of life, where a few changes take place: socially, physically, and mentally wise. It is a period of developmental that implies a natural detachment from the family, the parents, and where the pairs assume a relevant role. Despite being a period of changes, opportunities, dreams and achievements, it can also be a period for self-doubt, insecurities, isolation, being self-harm and suicide ideation sometimes also a reality. The aim of therapy is to provide support and help to the adolescents and, therefore, to their families, by identifying the difficulties that are being experienced, the causes behind it and by providing the means to surpass it.
