1. Introduction
Welcome to PsyMentalHealth Ltd ("PsyMentalHealth", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and any therapeutic services provided by practitioners associated with PsyMentalHealth.
By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Independent Practice
The Counsellors, Psychologists, and Psychotherapists at PsyMentalHealth practice independently on his or her own behalf. The therapeutic contract that exists is one between the therapist and his or her client(s), and PsyMentalHealth is not party to any such contracts.
Each practitioner is responsible for their own professional conduct, insurance, and adherence to their respective professional body's code of ethics.
3. Booking and Appointments
3.1 Appointment Requests: When you submit an appointment request through our website, you are expressing interest in receiving our services. We will contact you within 12 hours during working days to confirm availability and schedule your appointment.
3.2 Confirmation: An appointment is only confirmed once you receive direct confirmation from us via phone or email.
3.3 Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee at the discretion of the practitioner.
3.4 Bank Holidays and Weekends: Appointment requests submitted during bank holidays or weekends will be processed on the next working day.
4. Services Provided
4.1 Types of Services: We offer various therapeutic services including but not limited to:
- Child therapy
- Adolescent therapy
- Adult therapy
- Couple therapy
- Psychological assessments
- Menopause support programme
4.2 Session Modes: Services are available both online (via video call) and in-person at our location in Naas, Co. Kildare.
4.3 Initial Consultations: Free initial consultations with our Practice Manager are available for certain service categories to help match you with the most suitable therapist.
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 Service Fees: Fees for therapeutic services are set by individual practitioners and will be communicated to you before your first paid session.
5.2 Payment Methods: Payment details and methods will be provided by your assigned practitioner.
5.3 Insurance: Some services may be covered by health insurance. Please check with your insurance provider and inform us if you intend to claim through insurance.
6. Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during booking and intake processes
- Attend scheduled appointments on time or provide adequate notice for cancellations
- Engage in therapy in good faith and work collaboratively with your therapist
- Inform your therapist of any medications, medical conditions, or other relevant health information
- Respect the professional boundaries established by your therapist
7. Confidentiality
All therapeutic relationships are bound by professional codes of confidentiality. Your personal information and session content will be kept confidential, except in the following circumstances:
- Where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others
- Where required by law or court order
- Where you provide explicit written consent to share information
- For clinical supervision purposes (where your identity is protected)
8. Crisis Support
Important: Our services are not suitable for emergency mental health situations. In times of crisis (risk of suicide or risk to others), please contact:

9. Website Use
9.1 Acceptable Use: You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the website.

9.3 No Medical Advice: Information provided on our website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical or therapeutic advice. Always seek the advice of qualified health professionals for any medical or mental health concerns.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PsyMentalHealth Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our services or website.
As practitioners operate independently, PsyMentalHealth Ltd is not liable for the professional conduct or therapeutic outcomes provided by individual practitioners.

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement for detailed information.
12. Professional Standards
All therapists associated with PsyMentalHealth are registered with at least one of the following professional accreditation bodies:
- Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP)
- Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP)
- Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)
- British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
- UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)
13. Complaints
If you have concerns about any aspect of our service, please contact us at info@psymentalhealth.ie. For complaints about a specific practitioner's professional conduct, you may also contact their professional accreditation body directly.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
